Michael Ray is a partner in the firm’s corporate and real estate private equity investment funds practice groups. Mr. Ray’s practice focuses on advising clients across various sectors in connection with commercial transactions and business ventures, including mergers and acquisitions, and public and private offerings of securities and compliance matters.  Mr. Ray’s practice also emphasizes the representation of real estate private equity investment fund sponsors in connection with the organization and formation of their funds, capital raising activities and the execution of real estate joint-venture transactions.

  • Representation of sponsor entity in connection with a $150 million programmatic joint venture with an institutional investor to acquire and invest in industrial real estate assets
  • Representation of multiple sponsor principals in connection with the organization and formation of their sponsor entities, including seed, co-invest and third-party capital raising activities
