Pircher, Nichols & Meeks Receives Prestigious Tier 1 Ranking for the Eighth Consecutive Year

We are pleased to announce that Pircher, Nichols & Meeks LLP has achieved the highest ranking for real estate law from U.S. News Media Group—publisher of U.S. News & World Report—on the Best Lawyers® 2018 “Best Law Firms” list. Pircher received a Tier 1 ranking both nationally and in the metropolitan area of Los Angeles. Additionally, seven of the firm’s attorneys have been ranked as Best Lawyers® 2018 for their individual professional pursuits.

Among the attorneys listed as Best Lawyers® 2018 are Stevens A. Carey, Daniel B. Guggenheim, John H. Irons, Phillip G. Nichols, Leo J. Pircher, Michael E. Scheinberg and Stephanie C. Silvers.

Mr. Nichols was also recognized as the Best Lawyers® Los Angeles Real Estate Lawyer of the Year for 2018 earlier this year. Only one attorney is selected as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each specialty and location.

“It is a significant honor to be recognized once again for the outstanding legal services provided by the firm,” said John Irons, partner in Pircher’s Los Angeles office and a member of Pircher’s Executive Committee. “It is a testament to the excellence of our attorneys in handling complex real estate transactions, and confirms Pircher’s long-standing reputation as one of the nation’s top real estate law firms.”

For more than 30 years, Pircher has provided comprehensive service for real estate transactions and related matters. Working primarily in advisory and counseling on a wide variety of deals, including sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing property assets, leasing and development, workout and portfolio transactions, Pircher has built a reputation as one of the most active and cutting-edge real estate practices in the country.

The U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” award methodology is based on client and lawyer reviews, peer evaluation from leading lawyers in their respective fields, in addition to auxiliary information submitted by a firm in its formal submission process. All the quantitative and qualitative data are processed into a score, and compared against that of other firms.
