Pircher, Nichols & Meeks announces Ruth A. Schoenmeyer’s Admission to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers
Pircher, Nichols & Meeks is proud to announce partner Ruth A. Schoenmeyer’s recent admission into the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).
Founded in 1978, ACREL is a national, non-profit organization of lawyers who are distinguished in the practice of real estate law. Admission to ACREL is by invitation-only after a rigorous screening process. To be invited, lawyers must hold a strong practice in real estate law, have a positive reputation and be committed to the improvement of real estate law. The college seeks to champion high standards and ethics for real estate lawyers, as well as improve and reform the real estate practice. ACREL continually informs members of developments and issues within the real estate legal profession, publishes public educational materials and participates in policy discussions.
“I am incredibly honored to have been invited to join ACREL.” said Ms. Schoenmeyer.
The focus of Ms. Schoenmeyer’s practice is leasing. She frequently speaks about real estate topics for various organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Practising Law Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She is currently the Chair of the Leasing Group of the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE). She will be speaking on two panels at RPTE’s 30th Annual Spring Symposia, which is being held in Orlando, Florida on May 10-11.
Ms. Schoenmeyer earned her J.D. and bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
