PNM Partner Gene Leone will lead a panel of industry insiders to kick-off Bisnow’s Office Leasing & Development Midwest conference
Gene Leone (Partner – Pircher, Nichols & Meeks LLP) will moderate the first panel – one which will set the tone for the entire day’s discussions – at Bisnow’s Office Leasing & Development Midwest conference on June 21 at Loews Chicago Hotel.
The panel, titled “Office Investor Outlook: Catching Tomorrow’s Tailwinds,” will bring together Bill Rogalla, Principal at Zeller Realty Group; Tom D’Arcy, Senior Managing Director at Hines and Stephen Sotoloff, Senior Principal at Walton Street Capital. Mr. Leone will guide the group as it explores and shares insights into the current state of office investment and what the future holds.
The discussion is the first in a day-long exploration of an office real estate marketplace that has evolved at an unprecedented rate over the last 10 years. While employers adapt to changing office trends – office designs, “work-from-home” policies, pets in the workplace and the introduction of office programs that reduce stress – investors must also adapt.
Nearly 30 speakers and moderators, all authorities in the office commercial real estate realm, will address trends affecting office leasing and development and provide attendees with insights. In particular, leaders will speak about how the Midwest office real estate market compares to the nation, as well as the possibility of Chicago securing a major tech tenant and the impact it would have on areas like Goose Island. Panels will also explore how private transit options might spur growth and how the rollback of Dodd-Frank will affect the flow of office deals.
