Pircher Partner Speaking at ABA’s LLC Institute 2019 - Nov. 7-8, 2019
This week, Pircher partner Mike Soejoto will be presenting at the LLC Institute 2019 hosted by the LLCs, Partnerships and Unincorporated Law Committee of the American Bar Association (ABA). The two-day meeting will be held at Stetson Tampa Law Center in Tampa, Florida from November 7-8, 2019 and will offer nine CLE programs in addition to opportunities to network and participate in committee meetings.
Soejoto’s panel will take place on Thursday, November 7, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will cover “Contribution Default Remedies in LLC Operating Agreements.” He will be presenting alongside Bradley Borden, professor of law at Brooklyn Law School, to discuss the economic, tax and legal aspects of contribution default remedies, which often appear in LLC operating agreements. Soejoto and Borden plan to discuss the various types and impacts of these remedies in addition to relevant cases.
