Experience

Shaunt M. Kodaverdian joined Pircher, Nichols & Meeks in 2014 and is an associate in the firm’s real estate department.  Mr. Kodaverdian represents private and institutional investors, owners, developers, publicly traded corporations and lenders in connection with sophisticated real estate transactions, with an emphasis on joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions and financings.  Mr. Kodaverdian’s experience includes a wide range of asset types, including office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily projects, industrial parks, hospitality projects and land for commercial and residential developments. 

Further, Mr. Kodaverdian’s practice includes negotiating and drafting joint venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements and ancillary loan documents for various asset types.

Mr. Kodaverdian's representative transactions include:

  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in connection with the formation of a programmatic venture with a local operating partner and the acquisition by the venture of six light industrial flex properties in a major Midwest metro area totaling more than 600,000 square feet
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in connection with the formation of a venture with a local developer and the acquisition by the venture of a leasehold interest to develop a major franchise hotel in Southern California with a total estimated development cost of above $160,000,000
  • Representation of a platform joint venture in connection with the acquisition, financing and sale of numerous student housing apartment complexes located throughout the United States
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in connection with the formation of a venture with a local operating partner and the acquisition by the venture of certain property in Southern California to develop a multi-family project
  • Representation of a venture comprised of institutional real estate investors in connection with the sale of a multi-family project totaling almost 1,000,000 square feet
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in connection with numerous ventures with local developers to acquire and develop multifamily projects in different locations throughout the United States
